NVNA and Hospice delivers high quality patient care, in the comforting environment of home.
About us
We help people receive care in their own homes, surrounded by their friends and family. Our nurses, therapists and aides are your neighbors and live in the 27 communities we serve from Milton to Plymouth. As a nurse-led agency, we offer flexible hours, development opportunities and education. We are the first independent, nonprofit home health care and hospice agency serving the South Shore. Patient care is our top priority and we are consistently voted one of the top agencies in the nation.

This Nurses Week, we thank all our nursing colleagues for the compassion they show to our patients and families—and congratulate Becky Primmer, RN for her recognition in The Boston Globe's 2024 Salute to Nurses. Says her patient's grateful granddaughter in the Globe nomination: "Every step of the way, she showed us grace and empathy as we navigated how to quickly step into the role of caregivers. We can’t thank Becky enough for being so wonderful to our grandfather and father and for all she has done for our entire family." NVNA and Hospice recently held our first simulation lab training for our current home health aide team. Led by Education Manager Melinda Emery, HHA Preceptor Kim Bolduc, HHA Manager Alyssa Machovec Couturier, and OT Lisa Feingold, our aides received training on use of a Hoyer lift, use of a sit-to-stand machine, bathing techniques, and more. We are always proud to celebrate our clinical team and the excellent work they do to ensure our patients and families receive the best care possible.
